Erin Vincent
Erin Vincent is an author, essayist, journalist, and public speaker. Her memoir 'Grief Girl' (Penguin Random House US/Pan Macmillan AUS) was named a New York Public Library Best Book and was an American Library Association Best Book Nominee.
Her work has also appeared in various anthologies and publications such as The Guardian, Marie Claire, Grazia, The Weekend Australian Magazine, Meanjin, and The Offing.
In addition to her writing, Erin is a speaker both in the US and Australia. She has appeared on a host of national TV and radio programs including Channel Seven’s Sunrise, ABC’s The Conversation Hour with Richard Fidler, and Life Matters with Richard Aedy, as well as national radio programs in the US. She has been an invited speaker at the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators annual conference in Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books, and has given workshops and lectures at schools, universities, libraries, and bookstores in New York, Los Angeles, San Diego, and Sydney. Erin holds an MA in Creative Writing from the University of Technology Sydney and is now studying for a PhD in creative writing. She divides her time between Australia and the US and is currently residing in the Blue Mountains with her lovely and talented husband, Adam Knott, and their lovely and talented cat, Little Eve.
